The Extra-Strength Super Power Juice is an alien-made drink that first appears in Captain Underpants and the Invasion of the Incredibly Naughty Cafeteria Ladies from Outer Space (and the Subsequent Assault of the Equally Evil Lunchroom Zombie Nerds). It makes appearances in the comics that are supposed to inform the reader of what had happened in earlier books.

Description[]

The Extra-Strength Super Power juice is described to be green and glowing, probably due to it being from space. It has effects that vary. It gave Captain Underpants the ability to fly, gave Wedgie Woman's hair the ability to turn into arms of hair, and gave George and Harold's grandparents the ability to turn into Great-Granny Girdle and Boxer Boy.

It also gives whoever drinks it the ability to breathe in space, as seen in "Captain Underpants and the Senseless Torment of the Space Toilet".

History[]

Captain Underpants and the Invasion of the Incredibly Naughty Cafeteria Ladies from Outer Space (and the Subsequent Assault of the Equally Evil Lunchroom Zombie Nerds)[]

It is one of the strange juices found in Zorx, Klax, and Jennifer's space ship. It is found in the refrigerator by Captain Underpants, but is quickly taken by George Beard because of Captain Underpants' habit of getting into trouble. When Zorx, Klax, and Jennifer tell the trio to get into the jail cell, the juice is secretly taken by the heroes along with the Anti Zombie Nerd Juice and the Ultra Nasty Self-Destruct Juice.

After the trio of heroes escape the space ship and destroy it, Captain Underpants falls into the deadly jaws of the The Dandelion of Doom. Realizing their friend's (and principal's) fate, George and Harold Hutchins reluctantly pour the drink into his mouth, giving Captain Underpants superpowers. After Captain Underpants kills the ferocious plant, it is likely that the juice was taken to George Beard's Treehouse, since this is the next place it is seen.

Captain Underpants and the Wrath of the Wicked Wedgie Woman[]

The juice is seen in George's treehouse during the duo's struggle against Wedgie Woman. When she falls down and hits the wall, it spills onto her beehive hairdo, giving it the ability to turn into multiple arms of hair. Using this new ability, Wedgie Woman gives George and Harold wedgies and takes them hostage.

Captain Underpants and the Preposterous Plight of the Purple Potty People[]

The juice is one of several items George takes out of his backpack in an attempt to find the comics he and Harold made. If the reader looks closely at the picture, it is seen that George and Harold's grandparents are drinking the rest of the juice.

The Adventures of Super Diaper Baby[]

Deputy Dangerous and Danger Dog remove the powers from Captain Underpants, and Billy falls into the juice, becoming Super Diaper Baby.

Captain Underpants and the Tyrannical Retaliation of the Turbo Toilet 2000[]

It is likely Melvin Sneedly replicated the juice, or at least the effects of it, to save his life from the Turbo Toilet 2000.

Captain Underpants and the Sensational Saga of Sir Stinks-A-Lot[]

Sir Stinks-A-Lot extracts Mr. Krupp's superpowers and the effects of the 3-D Hypno-Ring, permanently removing his ability to become Captain Underpants. After Sir Stinks-A-Lot explodes both the juice and Zygogozizzle 24 deep into outer space.

The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants[]

In "The Sickening Fumes of Smartsy Fartsy", Smartsy Fartsy absorbs Captain Underpants' DNA and uses his superpowers to trap the school in a "fartosphere".

In "The Tenuous Takedown of the Tyrannical Teachertrons", George and Harold give part of the juice to Sergeant Boxers.

Trivia[]

  • The Extra Strength Super Power Juice is notably absent in Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, since Captain Underpants gains his superpowers in the film by absorbing radioactive fluids inside the Turbo Toilet 2000 instead.
